Leisure
D2 Planning are retained by X-Leisure Limited and Aspers Casinos to prepare and submit
a planning application for a new casino, family entertainment centre and 2 restaurants
within the Xscape building in Central Milton Keynes.
The principle of additional leisure development within the building was supported
by the Council but it was necessary to provide evidence that there would be no adverse
impact on the city centre highway network or local residents from the proposed uses.
The project was successfully managed by D2 Planning and resulted in the grant of
planning permission for the development. Aspers were also awarded the Casino licence
for Milton Keynes.
Other successful projects:
i) Cinema extension and additional restaurants at Eureka Leisure Park, Ashford
ii) Milton Keynes Greyhound Stadium redevelopment;
iii) Barracudas ‘roll out’ programme across the UK for Class A4 uses.
