On behalf of Blue Cedar Homes, D2 Planning was instructed to prepare a planning and conversation area consent application for the demolition of an existing building and the redevelopment of the site with 12 retirement dwellings for persons aged over 55. The site had previously been refused at appeal for open market residential development and we provided initial planning advice as well as heritage assessment on the demolition of the existing buildings on the site together with a socio economic needs assessment. We then prepared and submitted detailed planning and conservation area consent applications for the proposals.
